About Mrs Cook’s Bouqcakes

Hi, I’m Shauna, the face behind Mrs Cook’s Bouqcakes, based in Sittingbourne, Kent. I live here with my three children and my very supportive husband, and bringing a bit of joy to people is at the heart of what I do, both through my baking and in everyday moments.

Baking has always been a creative outlet for me, and over time it grew into something more meaningful. I now create cupcake bouquets that look like real flower arrangements, but are completely edible and made with soft sponge and smooth buttercream. Every cupcake is piped by hand, and no two bouquets are ever the same β€” just like the people they’re made for.

I really love creating pieces that bring people a bit of joy. Whether it’s for a birthday, wedding, baby shower, or just a thoughtful gift, I put a lot of care into making each order feel personal. I know how much small gestures can mean, and I enjoy being part of those special moments in people’s lives.

At heart, I’m someone who likes to look after people in small ways. Whether that’s baking something thoughtful, checking in on someone, or even just making a cup of tea for a stranger who’s had a rough moment, kindness matters to me. I think that’s why I love what I do so much β€” creating cupcake bouquets feels like another way of spreading a little kindness and putting a smile on someone’s face.

One of the parts of running my business I enjoy most is the people side of it. I really value the conversations that come with each order and taking the time to understand what someone is looking for, so I can create something that feels personal and just right for them.

Alongside running my business, being a mum is my biggest joy. My children inspire me every day and remind me why patience, care, and connection matter so much β€” values I try to bring into both my work and everyday life.

I’ve been incredibly grateful for the support my business has received, including winning three national awards at the Buttercream Bloom Awards in 2024 and being featured in Kent Online, Kent Life, and MSN News. I’m also a finalist in the 2025 UK Small Business Awards. What started as a small local idea has grown into something I’m really proud of, and I’m thankful to everyone who has supported me along the way.

If you’re looking for a thoughtful, handmade cupcake bouquet or a unique edible gift, I’d love to create something special for you.

Turning cake into flowers β€” and creating smiles along the way.
