Cupcakes
- All cakes are freshly baked to order and hand-made.
- Cupcakes should be eaten asap, ideally within 2 days and should be eaten at room temperature. Please leave in the box provided or in an airtight container.
- Sponge cakes decorated in fondant icing should be eaten within 5 days. Cakes should be kept in the box provided when uncut and should be wrapped in clingfilm and placed back into said box once cut.
- Some cakes may have non-edible items on them and I advise removing these before serving the cake.
ALLERGIES
- The kitchen is not an allergy-free kitchen, and I cannot guarantee that allergy-friendly cakes will not contain trace amounts of these ingredients due to the nature of production.
- If a severe allergy is known it is the customerβs responsibility to inform people not to eat the cake due to the possibility of trace allergens.
- Mrs Cookβs Bouqcakes accepts no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions.
ORDERING AND PAYMENT
- Orders will be accepted via e-mail, text, Instagram or Facebook page.
- A 40% booking fee is required to confirm your order.
DESIGNS
- Mrs Cookβs Bouqcakes will do her best to match any colour requests for icing but cannot guarantee an exact match as colours present differently in different materials. Mrs Cookβs Bouqcakes aims for a close-to-perfect match but this is not always possible.
COLLECTION & DELIVERY
- Responsibility for your cake passes to you once it has been collected from the premises or delivery has been accepted. Mrs Cookβs Bouqcakes accepts no liability for cakes that are damaged after they have been delivered or collected.
- Upon collection, cakes should be transported on a flat surface (preferably in an empty boot or passenger footwell). It is not recommended that cakes are put on a seat.
- On hot days it is recommended to travel with the air conditioning on to keep the environment cool for the cakes.
CAKE STORAGE
- After delivery or collection, please ensure that your cake is kept out of sunlight and at room temperature. Cakes with sugarpaste or sugar flowers/models should not be put in a refrigerator.
- Stacked cakes will be supported by dowels, which should be removed prior to serving.
CANCELLATION.
Cancellation Terms and Conditions:
1. A 40% deposit is required to secure your order upon booking.
2. If you cancel your order 4 weeks before your event, you will receive a refund of 30% of the total order amount.
3. If you cancel your order 3 weeks before your event, you will receive a refund of 20% of the total order amount.
4. If you cancel your order less than 2 weeks before your event, no refund will be provided.
5. For large events with 60 cupcakes or more, it is requested that you provide as much notice of cancellation as possible.
6. Cancellations made within 5 days of ordering will receive a full refund, provided that the event is more than 3 weeks away.
